Welcome to Ehresman Management! The owner, Duane Ehresman has worked to provide safe, affordable housing in Chicago’s Austin and West Garfield Park neighborhoods for almost 25 years. Duane believes that we can only make our world a better place by working together and living together while showing respect and understanding to one another. Through his development, construction and property management activities, Duane helps to bring stability in people’s lives by providing training, job opportunities and housing.
The philosopher Archimedes said, “Give me a place to stand and I will move the world”. In that spirit, we believe that our apartments can be a stable place for you and your family to build a good life. A Place for Families to Grow
Many of our buildings have two and three bedroom apartments, some with two full baths. These apartments are ideal for young families starting out or those that have decided to make the Austin Community their home. Our buildings are close to the CTA’s Green Line, Blue Line and the various bus routes throughout Austin and West Garfield Park. Families and singles can take advantage of the many programs offered by the Austin YMCA, at Lake Street and Central Avenue. Playing fields, organized sports teams and The Conservatory are all conveniently located to our buildings in West Garfield Park. Our buildings that border Central Avenue are all within walking distance of Columbus Park, which offers a golf course, ball fields, recreation and programs for the young and old alike.

We take pride in the fact that our buildings are well maintained. Our building supervisors and janitors do regular maintenance of the building and grounds. Repairs in tenant apartments are done quickly by our own crew of professional carpenters and painters. We take seriously the safety and well being of each and every resident, making sure that lighting, security doors and intercom systems are in good working order. We understand that rent is only one of the expenses that people must pay to take care of themselves and their families. Our apartments start at $500 per month plus security deposit.
